Giving back to the community is an important part of our Stone Hill Management culture. We endeavor to make a positive impact on the world around us. Our team members regularly collaborate to identify and help worthy causes. While we primarily do this to benefit others, we also recognize that there are many business benefits of giving back:
• Get to Know Each Other: Our favorite element of giving back at Stone Hill Management is that we get to know each other better. It is a chance to interact outside the normal work context. What’s more, philanthropy is closely linked to our values, so these activities bring our relationships to a new, deeper level.
• Foster Leadership: Giving back is a chance for team members to stand out as leaders. It is separate from normal business operations, so new people can take on responsibility for success. This can be driven from the top down, giving leadership roles to certain people. It can also be completely organic, with team members standing out on their own.
